This summer, EthicaCBD teamed up with an inspirational individual named Isa Bell, singer, songwriter, musician, and founder of Educ’aid Africa CIC. We think it’s about time that we shone some light on her story, the project, and the amazing things that she’s been getting up to.
For many of us, music plays an essential role in our everyday lives. For creatives like Isa, the cathartic potential of musical exploration becomes apparent at a young age, but the benefits of free expression can be felt by everyone. With music having such a positive impact on her own life, it pained Isa to discover that music education had been scrapped from school curriculums in Benin. Fortunately, having roots in Benin has allowed Isa to have a real impact on the situation, and EthicaCBD are extremely proud to support Educ’aid on its journey to bring back the music!

‘Our mission is to create opportunities for learning and cultural exchange, and to provide a musical education for all young people. We aim to provide decent facilities for schools in need, to provide nutritious meals and additional educational support. We believe that music education is a crucial component for attaining a child’s full intellectual, social and creative potential. Our goal is to help create a rich cultural environment that will benefit the community and will encourage children to participate in, preserve and celebrate their cultural heritage.’

Educ’aid Africa CIC is already responsible for making significant improvements to EPP Onkuihoue primary school in Benin, helping them to make restorations and open a canteen. Now, they are raising funds to open their first music school, but we are certain this is just the beginning and look forward to being a part of such a positive project.
In a time where funding and support for arts education is diminishing across the globe, projects like Educ’aid are essential, and we hope everyone can support the cause and get involved however possible. Recently, Isa has been organising fundraiser live-stream concerts, and always welcomes the participation of fellow musicians. Any style of music is welcome and cultural encounters are highly prized.
Are there any musicians out there who want to get involved? if so, see contact details at the bottom of this page.
EthicaCBD supports Educ’aid CIC Initiative

When asked about EthicaCBD, Isa said: “I am delighted that Ethica CBD supports my initiative and I applaud their values. As someone who values my health and wellbeing – and who is concerned about society’s over-reliance on medicines, painkillers and the commercial interests of the pharmaceutical industry – I am equally delighted to champion EthicaCBD on the south coast.”

When Isa trialled the idea at Georgie’s Marvellous Jamboree in Cornwall, people were full of praise for the products and loved the fruity flavours of our Pure Swiss range, so she is excited to represent the brand – ‘EthicaCBD uses organic coconut oil and natural ingredients, boosting your immune system with vitamins. Do yourself a favour and try their oils and cosmetics! If you’re in my neck of the woods, do get in touch for a free sample.’
